An Initiative by REACH and GREAT program funded by Australian Aid to
Empower Ethnic Minority Women in Son La
This three-year initiative (2025–2027) led by REACH empowers ethnic minority women, youth, and persons with disabilities in Son La through inclusive, market-driven support. By combining vocational training, small business incubation, and private sector engagement, the project aims to build a more equitable and sustainable local tourism economy.
Targets

20 new small businesses launched, including 18 led by ethnic minority women and 2 by persons with disabilities

450 young people trained in tourism and hospitality through short, practical courses
3
100 local businesses supported to improve service quality and expand market access
