Who we are
REACH is formerly known as “Livelihood Advancement Business Schools” (LABS) – a project implemented by Plan International in Vietnam since 2004. In 2008, REACH started operating independently as a nonprofit organization in the field of vocational training and job placement for disadvantaged youth in Vietnam.
Meet The Team
Tam is one of the very first people to set up the foundation for REACH when it was just the LABS project of Plan international in 2004.
With intensive experience in training, educating disadvantaged youth as well as project management, Ms. Tam has successfully lead the organization to expand its reach to more than 18,000 youth from underprivileged background over Vietnam.
As an M.A on Economics of Development from Vietnam National Economics University and Institute of Social Studies – The Hague Netherlands, Tam is acting as REACH founder and executive director, leading the executive management team which oversees the implementation of REACH’s strategic objectives and represents REACH to internal and external stakeholders. In the past four years, Tam has set up 04 social enterprises within REACH’s ecosystem. These social enterprises are hybrid models that create dual effects to achieve REACH’s mission of supporting disadvantaged youth all over Vietnam sustainably.

With a strong passion for disadvantaged youths, he has been working at REACH over 7 years, Mr. Dung is leading the internal office team to grow professionally among all departments at REACH office.
His knowledge of social works has helped the team implement and improve the projects from time to time. Innovating and developing REACH’s projects, he has proven the ability to REACH continue helping others in life through his ideas.
Our staffs are grateful to have such a senior leader who supports our organization’s growth.
Chief Operating Officer
Her work is truly important in monitoring and assessing the results of the interventions throughout REACH’s course programs and finance system.
Participating in the organization since 2005, Mrs. Huyen held varied roles throughout the organization and participated in every stage of REACH’s development progress – from a LABS project in Hanoi transition to a local non-profit organization, with programs in different provinces across Vietnam.
Chief Finance Officer Cum M&E Manager
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy has been in charge of accounting at REACH’s organization since September 2020. After 2 months, she was appointed as the Head of Accounting and Finance Department.
Although she has been participating for 2 years, her contribution created by the combination of professional skills, experience and passionate enthusiasm plays vital roles in running and processing our organization. Not only Ms. Thuy has responsibilities for the use of projects and funds in REACH’s programs, but she also manages the budget as well as tasks of controlling Finance resources.
Her willingness, leadership and high responsibility also devoted a lot for the Accounting team through the time.
Head of Accounting and Finance
Mrs. Ngo Thi Binh has been the Head of HR and Administration at REACH since July 2018.
Working on Human Resource Management, she has consolidated the organization C&B, Staff Appraisal system and contributed to the development of Or-culture.
With a very rich experience in HR, she plays an important role in finding talents for the organization.
Mrs.Binh loves REACH’s mission deeply, she believes human’s talents come together can achieve more when we all understand and trust each other’s works.
Her leadership, intelligence and management skills have supported HR Teamwork professionally along the way.
Head of HR and Administration
Mr. Giap holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He has 8-year experience in consulting and career advice for underprivileged people.
Mr. Giap had acknowledged REACH since he was a freshman. Joining REACH in 2019, with his dedication, passion and profession in working and supporting disadvantaged youth, he recently has been promoted to Staff Team Leader.
Mr. Giap considers students’ successes as his happiness and motivation for his work.
Hanoi Team Leader
Pham Van Bien has been working with the organization in more than 10 years, including 10 year of Hai Duong center history.
His happiness is seeing the students’ success throughout his works. His dream is to continue to support more disadvantaged students in Vietnam.
Hai Duong Center Manager
Tran Thi Thanh Ha has been working at REACH Institute for nearly 3 years. Working for REACH, she realizes that every single support to the youth is contributing to develop their career path, so Ms. Ha appreciates the chance to work with REACH and she tries to find the effective support to the disadvantaged youth in Central Area where Da Nang Center is located. The success of REACH’s student is the motivation for her to move forward.
Holding the Da Nang Center Manager position, Ms. Ha has proven the success of Da Nang branch with her leadership, management, and innovation throughout organization projects for Da Nang city. Thanks to Ms. Ha has been a leader in Da Nang branch at REACH.
Da Nang Center Manager
Tran Dung has 20 years of experience in vocational training in restaurant and concoction and 14 years of working with LABs (the predecessor of REACH).
With student centered philosophy, he has trained thousands of students, many of whom are now successful managers in hospitality industry.
Mr. Dung has proven his responsibility and leadership skills in leading REACH Hue successfully.
HUE Center Manager Cum Training Manager
Mr. Stanley Jones has 22+ years of experience developing and managing innovative programs around Skill Development Interventions, pro-poor value chains and strengthening of enterprises and skill development. He has demonstrated history of working in not for-profit industry with national, international organizations in large scale multi-stakeholders’ projects.
